Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on February 22, 1983. She is an American actress and comedian. She was the winner of 2008 on the NBC's Last Comic Standing. She was later the host of Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.
Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 on her own late-night talkshow. She has six Netflix comedy specials. Netflix began the sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April of 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born into a Jewish family from New York City. She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family moved to Dallas when she was a newborn. She went to Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. There she studied Spanish and was a member of the school's improv team.
Shlesinger performed on ComedySportz Dallas. She also was a student at the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was part of Semester at Sea. Then she moved to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. She majored in film. While at Emerson College, she improved editing and writing skills as well as joined Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a comedy group that plays on campus.

After college, Shlesinger relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. She was one of the most popular performers in the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her to the stage of The Improv in Hollywood.
