She was later the host of Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.  Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 on her own late-night talkshow. She has six Netflix comedy specials. Netflix began the sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April of 2020.  Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born into a Jewish family from New York City. She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family moved to Dallas when she was a newborn. She went to Addison's Greenhill School, Texas.
